Alzheimers and Dementia Emergency!! Help!!!?

Hi. My friend is home alone with her grandparents her dad works nights and wont be home till 4 am. Her grandpa has dementia and alzheimers and hes having somekind of hissy fit he is yelling in italian and alternating with singing. He is opening doors and acting crazy. My friend doesnt know what to do and she is scared he will run out of the house! What should I tell her? Her grandmother has gone into the bathroom and locked it.
