Question about winrar files and nero burning rom?

I have downloaded a movie that came in as winrar files and now I would like burn it onto a dvd-r, when I click on the winrar files it extracts them and plays them fine on media player ( so I know the files are O.K)...but when I try to use Nero 6 (Nero Burning Rom) there are no files in Video_TS ...when I try to add files it tells me that the files aren't compliant...Do you need to compress or decrypt these files....I'm fairly new to this process and basically wondering if there is any way to burn these winrar files??? Please help!! Need to watch this movie 2Nite!! Thnx in advance....
