Men are 'dumbed down' in popular sitcoms. I find this demeaning, and I am a female.?

Well when the first "dumb blonde" stereotype came out, it was directed towards blonde females since people started spreading it when they saw Christina Applegate in "Married... With Children". Personally, I think when TV dumbs down a male character, that character doesn't represent all men. Just like how Christina Applegate doesn't represent all blondes.
